1970 Lotus Elan S4 dhc

This car is an early Series 4 model. It is painted British Racing Green wand has a new top, a new tonneau and a new center console. The doors have been repaired and fit beautifully, although the windshield does have a crack in it. The car has a new soft-top as well as the original one. There is also a new tonneau cover. Chassis appears to have been replaced, the interior is nice and the correct Lotus seats are in excellent condition. When the current owner acquired the car it had alloy wheels which he replaced with 5 powder-coated K/O steels all with new 155 tires. The centre console was replaced recently. The wheels are secured by the familiar Lotus three-eared Knockoffs. Dash appears to have been replaced. The engine has been desmoged but runs well. A local Lotus restorer looked at it and said he could never get a Stromberg car to run well. Then he said that he saw a part there that he didn’t have, the balance tubes!

The Odometer shows 39,475 which is of course hard to verify with certainty. The car has a clean Ohio title and registration and is currently in Ohio but could be shipped anywhere within the US, or in fact Europe!
