The Coterie Press Photo Library currently manages the archives for Classic Team Lotus, The Ian Catt Collection and William Taylor Photography, as well as images from the Coterie Press files.

The first stage in the development of the Library was the archiving of the Classic Team Lotus Collection taken between 1974 & 1994. This has taken almost a year, but the first batch of images to go on line consists of a fascinating selection of 550 photographs in both Black & White and Colour. These images chart the development of the Team Lotus Formula One cars during this period.

During the course of 2004 more images will be added from the Classic Team Lotus Collection, before we start on stages two and three, The Ian Catt Collection and photographs by William Taylor. Now that the site is up and running, hopefully this will not take as long as stage one!

At present the majority of the images in the Coterie Press Photo Library are Lotus related, but as the library grows, expect to see images covering other marques, such as McLaren, Brabham, Tyrrell & Ferrari. The collection of John Player photographer Ian Catt, contains over 5,000 memorable images, and they can't all be Lotus, can they?
