PhotographerIan Catt took some magnificent motor racing images during his timeworking with John Player Team Lotus. And they weren't all Lotus!
This image of Niki Lauda in his flat-12 powered Ferrari 312T-2 wastaken during the 1977 Belgian Grand Prix held at Zolder. In a wet-dry-wet race, Niki finished second to Lotus driver Gunnar Nilsson who scored the only GP victory of his career that day. A second place for Niki in Belgium was one of six second-place finishes he took that year. Along with three his wins (in South Africa, Germany and Holland) this would give him enough points to take the World Drvers' Championship for the second time.
